Glamping in Pescadero

I had the opportunity of staying in a beautful Glamping tent on the California Coast this month and it was incredible!

This gem was located just a few miles from the Pacific Ocean with some of  the most perfect weather! I booked on Glamping Hub, which is my favorite place to search for and book all of my glamping adventures.

This tent was secluded, peaceful, roomy and it even had access to a pool and hot tub.  We however, did not spend any time at the pool or hot tub because we wanted to explore the nearby town of Pescadero and other surrounding areas.  More about that later . . . Right now, I want to share about the location set up and tent space.

The tent was equipped with everything you need.  A refrigerator, a space heater, lights, extra blankets, a small dining table, a couch, coffee table, and even a yoga mat!  Right outside the tent there was a large deck, a sink with running water and your own private portable toilette which was well maintained.  The area is very private and we spotted several deer nearby on our way to the town of Pescadero.  So sweet!

During the day we hit the road and explored the surrounding areas.  Starting with Pescadero first, a small friendly town with cute shops and a handful of tasty restaurants and coffee shops. We really enjoyed the local Mexican food restaurant but make a note, they are a cash only establishment.  There is a little alley of shops right off the main road with a variety of shops, including my favorite stop, a garden where you can either grab some scissors and a bucket and pick your own beautiful bouquet or get to work on creating your own succulent masterpiece!  SOOOOO fun, relaxing and honestly quite therapeutic.

Just past the town is Pescadero state beach, a great place to hang out. We enjoyed turing our daughter into a sand mermaid, watching people fish off the rocks and looking for marine life in the tide pools. It is gorgeous place to enjoy the pacific ocean.

On our second full day there, we made a fun day of it by letting our daughter blindly direct us.  We let her tell us to go right tor left as she pleased and it was fun to see where we ended up!  The first place she took us was a super cool organic berry farm called Swanton Berry Farms right off highway 1. We picked berries with views of the pacific ocean and did some jam testing.  Fun fact, this is the first and ONLY place I have ever been where they let you ring yourself up on a honor system!  You have full access to their cash box and credit card machine.  It was soon cool! If only all aspects of life could be so pure. 💛

Our next stop took us to Shark fin cove.  I actually found this place on the map and chose it as our next stop solely based on its name. It ended up being a BEAUTIFUL beach!  So peaceful and pretty private too!

Next we put Jolee back in charge and ended up at a pumpkin patch, again located off highway 1.  Small and simple but fun with a giant hay pyramid to climb on.  You really can’t beat a pumpkin patch that is sitting right on the coast.

After a fun day of exploring gems right off the 1, Jolee directed us all the way to Santa Cruz!  We enjoyed some shopping, browsing a lending library and some delicious food. Then it was time to wrap up our day and head bak to our cozy tent for another peaceful night surrounded by nature.

This spot is seriously a PRIME location to enjoy access to soooo many spots on the California coast.  I HIGHLY recommend you spending some time at this glamping spot and the surrounding areas. ⛺️  I will link it for you below.
