Priority Pass PERKS
I always wondered about airport lounges. I would walk past them and try to get a peek inside. I knew people used them but assumed it was only for “rich people” and I could never. I guess, if you don’t do it the smart way (with a points credit card or priority pass) it can get pretty pricey. Finally, one day several years ago, I decided that I no longer wanted to sit on the airport floor or hunt for a place to plug my charger in, in a swarm of other travelers. I took the plunge and paid full price to enter a lounge. I LOVED IT! There was food, drinks, comfortable seating, flight updates on the wall, helpful attendants, clean bathrooms, endless charger ports, rooms with beds and even showers! Mind you, it was ALL INCLUDED! It was as if my vacation began at the airport! I never wanted to spend hours at the airport pre flight or during layovers another way again! However, I also didn’t want to pay the pretty penny it cost to get in each time. Que Priority Pass! Some credit cards give you a free membership, my cards do not because they offer me another essential (IMO) service, Global Entry. I talk all about that in another post.
I needed to figure out a travel hack to get around paying full price for these amazing airport lounges and Priority Pass was it! I signed up and haven’t looked back since. The membership option I purchase also gives me free and discounted entrance for guests! So when I am traveling with my daughter or father, they get to come in too!
